Ladder #1
Ladder #1 now enables the Inman Firefighters the
capability of extending their hoses above high elevation fires, such as
in a burning church steeple, or on top of a multi-storied building where a blaze
could be extinguished faster by applying water down onto it.
Thanks, also, to the 75-foot extention capability of the ladder, a hose and nozzle can be secured to its end and water then applied to a blaze without necessitating a firefighter being above the flames to direct the nozzle flow. Also, the extension ladder serves an evacuation bridge, sturdy enough to support numerous firefighters and EMT's while they remove ambulatory victims.
Ladder #1 carries its own supply of water, and a full complement of necessary hoses. Ladder #1 is a modern, versatile fire engine and will do much to assist our firefighters in protecting City of Inman lives and property.
